Unfortunately, the photos I took closing night
outside the Albery Theatre, closing night of Sean Bean in MacBeth, are
gone,
as are the closest ones of Sir Ian. But I hope you enjoy these remaining few,
and there are a few more to follow from Kat's camera.

Looking down Shaftesbury Avenue at night, you can see the
Apollo next door to the Lyric, with the Gielgud and the Queen's Theatre
farther up the street |

Signing, signing--always signing. I don't think Sir Ian
skipped a single person, even unintentionally, the week we were there. |

This was our home for part of the week: the stage door near
right; Windmill Nightclub (live international nude dancers!) behind it
(with the amused doorman always watching us), and Pampers across the
street (with semi-nude women in the window trying to entice people in). |

I'm normally good with "no cameras" signs, but I had to
snap this quick, out-of-focus shot of bows one night to record the stage
setting for myself. |
